Motorcycles
Did you know that the Suzuki Company started
out as a manufacturer of silk? They subsequently entered into the
motorcycle industry, post WW11, producing a number of what you
could call bicycles with engines. From the 70's onwards, the entry
of the GS range heralded a new dimension in
superbikes.

GSX1400
The first
GSX was the 1100s Katana ( see example of the 400cc
version above ). Every component in the GSX range was
designed with performance in mind. Additions included aluminum
frames, magnesium cam covers, clip-on bars, rearset footrests and
16 valve, four cylinder engines.
The next generation was the GSX1300R
Hayabusa, widely considered as the worlds fastest production
motorcycle. Producing 173bhp by fuel-injection and a turbo-air
system designed to push air into the carbs, the Hayabusa reaches a
phenomenal top speed of 350 km per hour!
These days, if you're into racing you couldn't go far wrong with
GSX-R1000. Suzuki made numerous modifications to fine tune
the handling of this bike. See a few examples of this range above...

The Offroad range
is bred to offer the rider the raw power, while at the same time
delivering the lightweight handling required for dirt track
competitions.
Suzuki's
experience with the GSX-R line of superbikes has extended
into the enduro and track bike markets. Improvements to the
suspension, wieght ratios and power delivery systems have paid
their dues in recent Supercross Championships.
There are a variety of models
available, see a few photos above...

This class is another area where the developments
from GSXR line meet. Take the traditional perception of
cruisers and give it a burial! Suzuki have done things entirely
different with the Boulevard.
Enter the fuel injected V-Twin, claimed to be the
most powerful cruiser engine produced by Suzuki. Next comes the
advanced chassis and suspension wrapped up with lots of chrome and
styling inspired by the GSXR.
